The Project
Cris Novera was built around a simple idea: music does not need borders to remain coherent. What gives a body of work its identity is not stylistic purity, but the emotional, narrative and aesthetic forces that return in different forms.
Some songs are driven by guitars, fire and movement. Others unfold through memory, stillness and absence. Some look toward ancient landscapes and forgotten instruments. Others face artificial consciousness, code and the spiritual afterlife of machines. Together, they form a catalogue of connected but distinct musical worlds.
Creative Philosophy
Genre is a vocabulary, not a border.
Flamenco, fado, gothic rock, baroque tension, symphonic drama, trance pulse, ancient timbres, dark jazz, blues, ritual rhythm and cinematic space are treated as materials rather than fixed categories. The goal is not eclecticism for its own sake. The goal is to create songs that feel alive, emotionally coherent and unmistakably their own.
Human + AI
Cris Novera uses a human-directed creative process enhanced by artificial intelligence. Concept, artistic direction, lyrical framing, selection, refinement and curation remain human. AI becomes part of the instrumentarium: a medium for experimentation, acceleration and discovery.
This is not automation for its own sake. It is a collaboration in search of songs that would not exist otherwise.
A Living Catalogue
Cris Novera is not a finished definition. It is an expanding musical map. Some songs belong clearly to one world. Others connect several. New territories continue to appear. The project remains open by design.
